![]() I don't know how long I was left just drifting through this white void. She turned around and began to slowly walk away as once again, I was blinded by a white light. It is a shame we will not get to settle it now." I lowered my weapon and my glare turned to confusion as I asked "What are you talking about?"Īgain Elysium replied "Patroklos has failed at his task, I shall have to take over for him. She explained "I have a more important matter to attend to. I did so, but kept a defensive stance, I expecting this to be yet another ploy to trick me into lowering my guard, I'd seen this tactic used before. Just as I was about to go in to attack, I heard her abruptly exclaim "Stop!" ![]() However she suddenly said something which surprised me. I was able to come up with effective counters to every move that she tried no matter what. ![]() However her moves were predictable, I had watched them be used by Sophitia a few times in our travels together and then of course by Pyrrha mere moments before. "How dare you strike me!" She yelled in anger as I just stared at her void of any emotion as she went in for a stab attack right at my face. While she was distracted there, I thrust my foot forward, kicking her hard in the stomach which caused her to gasp and stumble backwards. Without another word, I went first, swinging my blade downward as Elysium raised her shield to block. Sophitia wouldn't have approved of half of what Elysium had planned. However I had to keep reminding myself that they were different people entirely. Me and Elysium just stared at each other for a moment, a part of me really didn't want to attack her given how she looked identical to Sophitia. I guess EVERYONE seemed to be getting familiar with it now?! I don't know, but it sure feels that way. This time a further distance away before getting into, you guessed it, Sophitia's old stance. If that's the way you want it, then that's how it shall be." Elysium just let out a faint "Hmph." As a strange almost, glass-like mask magically appeared over her face and she descended back to the ground. I just smirked at Elysium before saying "Very well. As she pointed the blade at me. It didn't take me long to realize that this was HER version of Soul Calibur, the same sword once wielded by my father. She paused before sprouting wings as she ascended into the air and partially continued "-You-" She then wrapped the wings around herself before suddenly parting them and revealing that she was now holding a sword and shield which both seemed to be made of a blue crystal-like material. But how was that possible? I'm certain Pyrrha would have taken the blade for herself.Įlysium continued her speech "It would seem even though you failed to satisfy Soul Edge, it still calls out to you and that makes you a threat to the potential of the future utopia I strive to create. I looked down and was surprised to see that I was still holding my own variant of Soul Edge is my hand. Instead of giving me a clear answer she simply replied to my question by saying "Look in your hand." I had completely not realized that I had been holding something this whole time. I decided to question her on this by asking "And what do you want to talk about that's so important that you literally saved my life?"Įlysium stepped closer to me until we were almost right in each other's faces. Elysium's statement just brought about more questions, namely what would she possibly want to talk about at this point. Now, we have something we need to talk about."ĭespite her answering my initial question. Somehow, you survived your predicament and I was able to bring you here. Now I was growing confused and asked "Am I dead?" Elysium responded "No, you are not. I slowly began to stand up as she continued "Didn't I warn you what would happen should you take in Pyrrha? I told you she would be your downfall. But you didn't take my advice." I looked up and found that I was once again in that strange ethereal plane from my dream and sure enough, just like last time Elysium was staring at me, this time with a cold look on her face. That question was answered when I heard a voice which I had grown to both love and hate at the same time. The last thing I remember was fighting Pyrrha in the Astral Chaos, we clashed, and I began to feel weaker, after that, nothing.
